Stone Bay House – New Build Coastal Home in Broadstairs with Sea Views

Client
Private

Location
Broadstairs, Kent

Stone Bay House is an exciting new build project in progress, set near the shoreline of Stone Bay in Broadstairs. Designed to replace an existing detached dwelling, the scheme delivers a contemporary coastal home that embraces both luxury and liveability.

The architectural language draws inspiration from the natural surroundings of Broadstairs’ coastline. Charred timber cladding, white brickwork and flint are used throughout, reflecting the textures and tones of the chalky cliffs, driftwood and coastal landscape. These materials ground the new build in its seaside setting while creating a bold and enduring aesthetic.

The design includes extensive front and rear landscaping, with carefully considered planting and hard surfaces to create a strong sense of arrival and seamless garden connections. At the heart of the outdoor living space is a private pool with a swim-up bar, complemented by generous terraces and seating zones for entertaining. A roof terrace provides panoramic views over the sea, maximising the site’s unique coastal location.

Inside, the open-plan layout has been designed to connect effortlessly with the outdoors, ensuring natural light, fresh air and sea views are enjoyed throughout the home. With strong architectural lines, modern detailing, and a focus on high-quality sustainable materials, Stone Bay House is set to become a striking new addition to Broadstairs’ seafront.
