Space Saving Victorian Renovation, London
Client
Private
Location
London, UK
A renovation project for a flat in an 1880's Victorian terrace building, where a clever use of space was key.
This project boldly made a tired and dated flat into a bright, fresh and contemporary refurbishment. The finished residence offers two colourful double bedrooms, an eclectic black & white bathroom, a bold kitchen in white & gold, a pocket-doored study and an open plan, Scandi-style living and dining area.
The challenge presented by a small galley kitchen is in pairing efficiency with elegance. This design of this kitchen was made a success by combining a clever arrangement with sleek white cabinetry, gold-accented handles, brushed brass splashbacks and a naturally aurous oak block worktop.
